Hydrovert was started by Supriya and Satyajit with their humble resources and a strong conviction that good ideas and focused efforts will eventually transform ideas into technologies of the future. Apart from creating Hydrovert Energy, Supriya and Satyajit are also married and have a son, Neil, who inspires them to strive towards a world worth living..

Dr. Satyajit Phadke

Satyajit has over 15 years of experience in the energy domain. He has B.Tech degree from IIT Roorkee in materials engineering and PhD from University of Florida in hydrogen fuel cells. Thereafter he has worked at  Massachusetts Institute of Technology (high temperature liquid metal battery), Princeton University(zinc alkaline batteries) and in Silicon Valley(prussian Blue high power batteries) as a material scientist. His work at MIT under a US ARPA-E funded project generated 3 patents which have been licensed for commercialization. In 2016, Satyajit was offered Le Studium Research Fellowship sponsored by the European Union to work in France on lithium sulphur batteries for 3 years.
